How Awesome Jesus Is

It is just awesome to revel in the new creation life giving spirits we have become through what Jesus did for us!

I received a new revelation on the scripture, " Although he was a Son, He learned obedience through what He suffered." ( Hebrews 5 vs 8).It goes along with,"All things work together for good for those who love God and are called according to His purposes." ( Romans 8 vs 28).

The Holy Spirit is always wanting to establish us in the truth and will use everything we face for that purpose.When Jesus was reviled and insulted, He did not revile or insult back. He trusted Himself to the Father to be the judge. In other words, He did not give room to carnal thinking and try to defend Himself.In the same way, why should we want to defend something that is dead? Remember our old carnal man died with Jesus on the cross.

Instead when someone puts you down, calls you names, tells you you are ignorant and so on, that's your opportunity to learn obedience.....obedience to the truth....to think about and agree with God and praise Him for who you really are...a new creation who has the MIND OF CHRIST, who does not need anyone to instruct you, because the very HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD is in you and HE TEACHES YOU concerning EVERYTHING. ( 1 John 2 vs 27)What else is there?And you did not get this through you own efforts, so this is not a boast issue...it is such a gift...THE GIFT...words can't express it...but we get to live it!
